HFES motor vehicle accidents — 2
11:59 a.m;. - Staff at an assisted living home reported a resident had sold a motorhome to his nephew for $4,000. The nephew received the motorhome, but the resident never received the money.
6:36 p.m. - Someone reported two people parked at Lookin Good Car Wash were punching each other and blocking traffic.
9:37 - A white Silverado slammed into a power pole on North First Place sheering it off and taking lines down.

4:05 a.m. - A Hermiston resident reported he saw a subject remove an air conditioning unit from a window and enter a residence.
10:49 a.m. - Someone contacted 911 to report a male in the road. When HFES teams responded, they found a man doing pushups. HPD was familiar with the individual and said no medical services were required.
1:54 p.m. - A woman reported she lost her wallet at Goodwill Industries and when the wallet was returned, $1,000 was missing.
SATURDAY

3:15 a.m. - Hermiston Fire responded to Marlette Homes for a fire alarm. No fire or smoke was detected, and it was confirmed a false alarm.
3:04 p.m. - A dog attack on children on Southwest Third Street, Irrigon, prompted their father to call law enforcement about the dog. He said the children did not need medical help but he wanted the dog gone.
5:59 p.m. - A sheep and a calf were killed on property on North Loop Road, Stanfield. The property owner requested a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy respond and said she had photos of the kills.
6:18 p.m. - A Hermiston resident reported her ex shoved her through a door and slammed her arm into the screen door.
8:31 p.m. - A resident of B Street, Umatilla, reported the theft of her silver 2006 Dodge Caravan. The caller’s husband named two possible suspects.
8:40 p.m. - A Hermiston woman reported a man approached her door and demanded an antique mirror that she does not have.
9:31 Hermiston Fire responded to an unknown fire in the area of Highway 207 and Curtis Road. It was determined to be a large bonfire, and Echo Fire took care of the issue.
FRIDAY
HFES medical calls — 5
7:40 a.m. - A herd of 15 cows and calves walked up and down Baggett Lane near Hermiston. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office contacted the livestock owner.
7:45 a.m - A motor home that was unable to turn a corner blocked the intersection of Fourth Street and Jennie Avenue, causing a traffic jam.
6:19 p.m. - A resident of Hat Rock Road, Hermiston, reported his tool shed broken into sometime during the past four days. He was making a list of missing items to give to the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office.
7:06 p.m. - Lifeflight contacted the Hermiston Police Department asking for assistance in stopping someone from flying a model plane around the helicopter so they could take off.
20:15 p.m. - A fight started in the bar at the Panda Inn.
THURSDAY

7:18 a.m. - A school bus broke down before the railroad tracks on East Highland Avenue.
11:19 - A woman in the Hermiston area reported her son-in-law helped her move some things, and he took her gas-powered scooter.
11:27 a.m. - A woman asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to send someone to check on her husband, who left his job in Boardman and was walking to The Dalles. She described the clothes he wore and said he was 35 with brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo on his forehead, but had no cellphone, no money and no vehicle. Deputies did not find her husband.
12:51 p.m. - A woman at the Tillicum Inn, Umatilla, told police she received unwanted phone calls from a male.
12:51 p.m. - Gunshots alerted a Hermiston-area man to call law enforcement. He said he was working in his pasture on Rayton Lane and the shots were from behind his house and coming into the pasture. He also said he heard another shot while on the phone with dispatch.
2:06 p.m. - Firefighters responded to a report of flames near Powerline Road and Dean Avenue, Umatilla, and found a tree on fire on the south side of the Columbia River about 200 feet from a pump station.
4 p.m. - A woman reported she was picking up garbage that campers left at Umatilla River Road and Bonney Lane, Umatilla, and found bones that are possibly human remains. Oregon State Police checked it out and the remains more likely belonged to a dog or other small animal.
6:01 p.m. - Stanfield police responded to a report of a “couple of guys out drinking alcohol in the park.”
11:13 p.m. - A man and woman fought at the Sub Zero Restaurant, Irrigon, and the man left. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

•Hermiston police arrested Pablo Juan Lorenzo, 33, no address provided, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, hit and run (property), driving while suspended, driving uninsured and having an open container of alcohol while driving.
•Umatilla Tribal Police Department arrested Gregorio Diaz, 19, address not provided, for felony and misdemeanor attempt to elude police, reckless driving, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, hit and run and on a felony probation violation.
•Hermiston police arrested Robert Jay Fetter, 34, of Hermiston, for assaulting a public safety officer and second-degree disorderly conduct.
•Oregon State Police cited Ty Jacob Harris, 18, of Umatilla, for DUII.
•Oregon State Police cited Dustin Bradly Kline, 28, of McMinnville, for DUII. His blood-alcohol level was .02 percent, below the legal limit, and state police reported a trooper found marijuana and pipes in his vehicle.
•Stanfield police arrested Jeani Elyse Marlatt, 29, address not provided, for DUII (controlled substance), possession of controlled substance (Schedule II), recklessly endangering another and unlawful possession of a firearm.
•Boardman police arrested Daniel Sainez, 22, address not provided, for felony driving while suspended, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine and attempt to elude police.
•Hermiston police arrested Jose Antonio Hernandez, 28, of Hermiston, for unlawful use of a weapon, domestic violence menacing, reckless driving and two counts of reckless endangering.
